MGWA Spring 2014 Conference

Recharge, Infiltration & Drainage

April 22, 2014
8am - 4:30pm

Continuing Education and Conference Center

The conference will shed light on recent efforts to answer the time-honored questions: Where does ground water come from? How do we estimate ground water recharge? What are the implications of human-induced modifications to surface-ground water interaction? Presentations will cover a range of topics including the Soil Water Balance (SWB) model, recharge in karst areas, ground water impacts from stormwater infiltration, infiltration case studies, stormwater infiltration concerns in wellhead protection areas, and controlling ground water levels with drainage.
