The Events Coordinator is a new position created in 2024 for planning, coordinating and communicating promotional, educational, marketing, and social events as determined and approved by the Board. The Events Coordinator position is an appointed, minimum two year term, voting member of the board.
Ms. Undem manages the Environmental Assessment Program at Dakota County and administers the Redevelopment Incentive Grant (RIG) program in collaboration with the Community Development Agency. The RIG program provides grants and technical assistance to brownfield redevelopment projects throughout Dakota County with environmental investigations and site cleanup. Ms. Undem has worked on brownfields, environmental investigations, and site cleanups for more than 30 years in private industry and government. Ms. Undem is currently serving on the Minnesota Brownfields planning committee, the MGWA Board of Directors, Chair of the MGWA Education Committee, and a stakeholder on several MPCA Stakeholder groups. Ms. Undem is a licensed professional geologist in MN and WI and graduate of the University of MN Duluth.
