MGWA 2025 Financial Summary

by Nick Budde, MGWA Treasurer

In 2025, MGWA had an income of $118,167 and expenses of $96,572. The association ended the year with $139,832 in its bank account. The spring and fall conferences were the largest sources of income, making up a combined 85% of income, with the rest primarily coming from membership dues. The two conferences also make up the largest expenses at 65% combined. Labor and administration (23%), member services (9%), MGWA Foundation Services (2%), and networking events (1%) make up the rest of the expenses. Income healthily exceeded expenses by $21,595 in 2025. These funds will be used to help support the pay for the first full year of our executive director, build an operational rainy-day fund, and be reinvested in member services and events.
