Hot and dry weather conditions this year have put much of Minnesota into a drought. For the latest information on the status of various water resources in Minnesota (including groundwater levels), see the Monthly Hydrologic Conditions Report prepared regularly by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The report places current values of precipitation, stream flows, lake levels, and groundwater levels in long-term historical contexts. The data provide valuable information for water resource management and decision-making across the state.
