In January 2024, Pam Anderson became the new MPCA Remediation Division Director. Prior to this role, Pam was the assistant Remediation Division Director and worked for 18 years in the agency’s Environmental Analysis and Outcomes Division, including serving as manager of the Surface Water Monitoring Program. Her surface water work included coordinating monitoring efforts for the agency and in partnership with sister agencies, managing MPCA’s response to harmful algal blooms, and overseeing large portions of the surface water assessment process.
