Spring Conference Presentation Videos Available

This year’s MGWA Spring Conference was held online on April 27th, 2023. The meeting’s theme was to explore the variety of drinking water-quality issues that occur across the State of Minnesota. The conference began with a discussion on the state’s hydrogeology and drinking water regulatory framework. The other presentations focused on drinking water-quality issues and challenges in the cities of Mankato, Hastings, Virginia, Onamia, Moorhead, and Edgerton. Immediately after the lunch break, Bob Tipping from MDH and Tony Runkel from MGS showed a collection of interesting videos collected from some wells in Minnesota!

The videos for the first three presentations: 1) Steve Robertson’s presentation on Minnesota’s generalized hydrogeologic framework, 2) Kyle Hinrich’s discussion of the City of Mankato’s Water Supply, and 3) Ryan Stempski’s presentation on the City of Hasting’s Municipal Water Supply are available on the MGWA’s website and can be reached by clicking the button below.
