The U.S. Geological Survey Upper Midwest Water Science Center (UMid WSC) was built out of a 2018 merger of the former Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin Water Science Centers. Scientists in the UMid WSC monitor and study the water resources across the three states. Learn more about their new organization and their many groundwater projects.
